DanDan Noodles

A beloved, traditional noodle in Chengdu, Dan Dan noodles are widely eaten and enjoyed throughout China’s Sichuan province. Like many Sichuan dishes, these noodles are typically prepared in a hot, spicy sauce and are topped with fried mincemeat and vegetables. No two bowls are the same, and preparation and preference vary widely. That stated, there is no “wrong” way to prepare Dan Dan and these noodles arrive at the table in a variety of ways, each of them dynamic and unique. Ditch the yakisoba for now and instead, wow your guests, your family, and yourself with this spicy, authentic Chengdu dish.
